A guy walks into a bar, meets a girl, asks her to dance. Their story might have ended when the song did, but Jeremiah could tell that Jessica wasn’t like anyone he’d met before. She was beautiful, of course…but it was her caring spirit that really drew him to her.
Each of them knew they wanted to get to know the other…and when they did, they discovered they had a lot in common. Both came from large families with similar faith backgrounds. And they both love to travel. They started spending more and more time together, and it wasn’t long before they knew they were meant to be.
So, on a trip the two took to Italy earlier this year, as the sun set over the ocean while they walked along a path above the town of Rio Maggiore, Jeremiah proposed. On their way back into town, there was a festival with a marching band, which Jessica says made it feel like everyone was celebrating with them. And soon, their dearest family and friends will be celebrating at their wedding!
